Red Ribbon Week 2023

Every year between October 23 and October 31, LLA campuses join together in the drug prevention campaign Red Ribbon Week. This year, junior high and high school students participated in Rob Holla’s vaping awareness presentation in the high school gym on Monday, Oct. 23. Through magic tricks and humorous anecdotes, Holla shared the marketing messages of tobacco and vaping companies, the five lies of vaping, and the power of insight to help students make smart choices. SA’s Spirit Week coincides with Red Ribbon Week. Each day’s theme is related to slogans like, “Practice your health by taking care of yourself!” and “My team is drug free!”
